After years of oppression and enslavement, Haitians are rising up against French colonialism in the name of French ideals: Liberté, Egalité, Fraternité. The time has come for the Haitian people to fight for their rights as humans and against being colonized by the French. With the guidance of cultural leaders, religious figures and military insight, the Haitian people will begin their fight for freedom in the autumn following the May 15th Paris Decree in 1791. You will embody one of these important figures and determine the fate of an island that has thus far known a history of struggle and tragedy.
