The year is 2026, and East Vale FC are coming off a historically bad season in the English Premier League. After narrowly avoiding relegation, you, the board of East Vale FC, are charged with bringing the team up from the dumps and competing for the title. As the board, you will need to deal with many, if not all, facets of what it takes to run a top-tier football team in England. Dealing with everything from player negotiations, the buying and selling of players, your lineups, and making sure the team makes money at the end of the year. There will be many obstacles along the way that you must overcome to reach the heights of victory in the world's most difficult and skilled league. You will take on and embody various roles; some of you may be heads of marketing or finance, while others will see themselves as coaches or player representatives who will push for the wishes of your team. You will have to spend your time carefully balancing the wishes of players, success on the field, financial assets, and any potential off-field issues players or management will run into. Juggling all these issues will be difficult, but if you address each item effectively, East Vale FC will be hoisting the trophy in no time.
