Since the creation of the United Nations, children have been at the forefront of human rights concerns around the world. After the signing of The Convention on the Rights of the Child, guaranteed rights were outlined, dedicated towards the specific concerns that children face globally. However, there are still shortcomings that delegates in UNICEF must address in order to protect the rights guaranteed in its charter. Specifically, emphasis has been taken within this committee to dedicate themselves to finding equitable solutions towards international and regional problems that negatively impact and endanger children.
Delegates in UNICEF will be addressing important topics and concerns that focus on preserving the safety and human rights for every child. Additionally, delegates will strive to pass resolutions that ensure that all children regardless of their geographic or socioeconomic background have access to their rights. If you have any questions, feel free to email us at our committee email below. Good luck delegates! We are excited to see your ideas shine!
